Enjoy the 2013 Artwalk

Arty the Artwalker and Downtown Williams Lake welcome you to The 2013 Artwalk & Sale. This year’s Artwalk & Sale has grown. We have more artists, more merchants, more diversity of art, and more communities represented. We are excited to have 54 merchants and 64 artists. The artists are from Quesnel, 100 Mile House, Bella Coola, Merritt, Kamloops, Horsefly, and Williams Lake.  New events include stop number 49,  called ‘Celebrity Self Portraits”. Three noteworthy citizens of Williams Lake have painted a likeness of hemselves.
Not only have these people become artists, their work will be auctioned off and the funds raised will go to the Child Development Centre.
Stop number 36 is a group of paintings by students of Columneetza who have put their work on display. Please wander throughout downtown Williams Lake, get acquainted with the merchants, see the wonderful art, and get your passports stamped. If you collect 42
stamps you will be eligible to enter a draw for a fabulous trip for two to Sunpeaks.  Along the way each merchant has a wonderful door prize — make sure you enter at each location.

We are very pleased to welcome Randy Moe back to the Artwalk. His art is displayed at Lake City Ford. In this collection you will find a 4′ x 8′ painting donated by Sheep Creek Developments, which is to be auctioned off, with the proceeds also going to the Child Development Center.
The best days to do the Artwalk are Tuesday to Friday. There are no statutory holidays and all of the merchants are open. Please check the artists bios for actual viewing hours.
Downtown Williams Lake is very proud to support The Arts and the Child Development Centre as well as the development of arts in Williams Lake.
